Will's 3-year-old goddaughter Grace Van Cutsem was most definitely not amused to be part of the wedding party—and not afraid to show it

So, how do you steal attention away from the world's most anticipated bride? By being prettier than her? (No, but nice try, David Beckham.) By wearing a particularly head-turning fascinator? (No, but ditto on the yeoman effort, British ladies.) By setting speculation alight by slyly whispering in the ear of the groom prior to his bride's trip down the aisle? (No, but way to prove once more that you're the real prince we want to hang with, Harry.)

The answer is this: by being a perfectly adorable bridesmaid. With some ear sensitivity.

While all eyes were rightfully on Kate Middleton and Prince William throughout the morning, when they took to the balcony and treated their adoring public to not one but two kisses, the spotlight was briefly diverted to 3-year-old bridesmaid Grace Van Cutsem, William's goddaughter.

The excitement (or the noise of the crowd and RAF flyover) was simply too much for the adorable little girl to bear and up went her hands to cover her little ears. That she did so at the exact moment that Will and Kate puckered up was either the result of a scene-stealing stroke of genius or the most delightfully coincidental timing ever.

Either way, that's one adorable pout. Anti-royal wedding watchers couldn't have asked for a cuter mascot.
