OK, we might be hooked.
NBC's The Voice, which features the likes of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo as coaches and old-school VJ Carson Daly as host, appears to be a something of a heartwarming anti-Idol. The singers themselves range from OK to awesome (in the awesome category, we're thinking of Javier Colon's rendition of "Time After Time" among others), but because of the caliber of the coaches and the structure of the show—the famous people do the groveling!—it's easy to become invested immediately.
