Who Should Have Really Costarred With Robert Pattinson in Water for Elephants?

Don't get us wrong, Reese Witherspoon looks flawless in Water for Elephants. Perfect, translucent skin, an impeccable wardrobe ranging from chic safari pants to silk ball gowns, jewels to die for and manners one could only learn in a cotillion course.

But that is exactly the problem!

Isn't the character supposed to come from a poor, nomadic, orphaned childhood? A girl from the wrong side of the tracks (literally) who hopped the right train one day when the circus came to town? An optimistic young girl who catches the eye of a wealthier, older, maniac of a man (Christoph Waltz)?

Reese's Marlena character is too polished, too comfortable in her new, elegant world and simply just too mature—both in real life and onscreen—for us to believe that she is at all out of place around champagne glasses and men in tuxedos.

So it got us thinking: Which chick in Hollywood has the chops to pull off those skimpy, glittery costumes while making us believe she transitioned from rags to riches?

Not only does Kristen Stewart have the chemistry with Robert Pattinson that continuously keeps us wanting more, but she can pull off playing a girl from the wrong side of town, as she proved in her role as a stripper in Welcome to the Rileys. Blake Lively also gave us her best dirty girl in The Town and has the perfect blend of glam and grit to ace the role that went to Reese. Oscar nominees Carey Mulligan and Michelle Williams both have the Indie actress thing going for them and seem to be a better match for the movie's debauched tone and R.Pattz's style. And Evan Rachel Wood loves older dudes and rocking barely there wear, so seems like a natural fit, right?
