In a new trailer for the upcoming comedy Casa de Mi Padre (House of My Father), Will Ferrell still manages to be very, well, Will Ferrell—even when speaking nothing but Spanish.

You read that right. In this spoof on telenovelas, the comic actor ditches his native tongue to play rancher Armando Alvarez alongside Mexican actors Diego Luna and Gael Garcia Bernal.

And while it promises everything from passion, adventure and betrayal to cigarettes, slaps and special effects, we can't help but feel this might have worked better simply as a sketch on Ferrell's Funny or Die website as opposed to a full-length feature.

So, will you be saddling up for this one? Let us know in the comments. In any language you want.
