It was quite an emotional evening on Dancing With the Stars, as the duos performed to songs picked by the stars themselves in an effort to tell a story. Some picked songs to pay tribute to loved ones, while others chose tunes that represented their past triumphs and tribulations.

Which was ironically, the perfect setting for Kirstie Alley to take the first spill of the season, get back up and keep dancing! She tells us what partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy said to make her power through the routine. Plus, Wendy Williams has a message for the judges…

When Maks' thigh gave out during their dance to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow," Kirstie hit the floor. She may have been down, but she was anything but out. "It was sweet. He just looked at me and said, ‘Let's keep dancing,'" Kirstie reveals to us. "And I thought, ‘I like that.' I have the best partner!"

Elsewhere on the "feeling down" wagon was Wendy Williams, whose performance with partner Tony Dovolani to "Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" got a less than stellar score. "All I know is, you guys know how to break it down as far as real dancers. But I, Wendy from Jersey, felt like I did not dance a 15," she says. "With everyone getting 20s and above, I just felt, again, we were robbed."

Should Wendy return next week, she is ready and able to prove herself to the judges. "If we don't get eliminated tomorrow, then I would like to come back next week and give them something to score about!" she promises us. "And regardless again of what they score, Wendy Williams is a winner. I enjoy being here and dancing Tony's routines. And Tony is a winner, too."

Never one to be above making fun of herself, Wendy asked and answered her own question: "How you dancin'? Clearly not so good!"

Meanwhile, Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett spoke on Hugh Hefner's wedding and the fact that she wouldn't be able to attend because of another wedding she was invited to on the same day. Not that she got Hef's invite yet. "I'm still waiting for my save the date!" Kendra tells us before revealing that her ex-boyfriend has been in touch. "He emailed me after he heard the news through the media [that I couldn't come], and he said, ‘If you want I can change the date!'"

Speaking of upcoming nuptials, newly engaged Carrie Ann Inaba was positively glowing while talking about the on-camera surprise engagement from fiancée Jesse Sloan. "He was very sneaky. How come I didn't know?" she asks her future hubby, who was by her side tonight. "I'm not good with surprises. I'm a Capricorn, and I want to know everything that's going on. When Regis started reading the card about the proposal, I wasn't even paying attention," she admits.

Do you think Wendy deserved such a low score? Who were your favorites tonight? And do you have a prediction on who's going home tomorrow?
