Calling all millionaires who need 10 bedrooms!

A family-man actor whose movies have noisily made billions at the box office—allowing him the financial freedom to take on the occasional Indie Spirit Award-nominated role, as well—has put his gated two-house compound in the Hollywood Hills' Outpost Estates neighborhood on the market for $11.5 million.

Which, incidentally, is roughly $9.7 million more than he paid for it in 1999!

So who's the savvy seller?

No nebbish, he.

Ben Stiller is the box-office titan who, along with wife Christine Taylor, is selling this 10-bedroom, 11-bathroom residence, which boasts one Spanish-style house and another equally lovely Mediterranean-style pile of bricks, the two connected by a Mexican-tile paved walkway.

Sounds like plenty of room for all the parents to visit!

The couple, who have been married nearly 11 years, and their two children had been enjoying almost an acre of lushly landscaped, superprivate grounds—important for keeping the kids in and the looky-loos out—plus a screening room, state-of-the-art appliances, a pool, a barbecue area and other indulgences.

The Stiller family recently relocated to New York City, where he'll be starring in The House of Blue Leaves on Broadway later this month. Edie Falco and Jennifer Jason Leigh are among his costars.

Ironically, Stiller recently told David Letterman that he's got a few concerns about his new house in the suburbs outside NYC.

"I have a little thing with quietness and spirits," Stiller said. "I'm aware of ghosts. I sort of believe in ghosts, and my wife doesn't; she's afraid of axe murders." (Nebbish, no. Neuroses, yes.)

Another thing all those gates and walls in the Hollywood Hills are good for—security!
