Kim and Kanye sitting in a...recording studio??!!

Yup, you read that right. The hottest Kardashian and reality star/model/store owner/entrepreneur/middle sister mogul is now taking the appropriate next step to taking over the world—she's recording an entire album of pop songs. And she's bringing in the big guns to make sure it's better than Paris'Kanye West.

Here's what we know...

The duo—rumored to be more than pals after being spotted side by side at the Dash store opening in New York this fall—have been secretly working together on a closed-set this week, shooting the music video for Kim's first single.

The rapper and the reality vixen, who also spent her 30th birthday hanging out together, arrived and left separately from the shoot, which took place in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Hype Williams—the mastermind behind "Empire State of Mind," "Gold Digger" and dozens of other hip-hop videos—was directing.

Kim, who has also been working with überproducer The-Dream on the album, has been  tweeting off about her musical endeavor.

"OMG you guys have no idea what I'm doing today! you are gonna die!!!!" she posted on Twitter. "What should my alter ego name be?

"What an amazing day!!! I'm finished for today...but we have a few more to go! Can't Twitpic just yet, but will soon," wrote Kim.

Today she said "Day #2 let's go!"

Terrific. Now we just got to hear her singing.
