Third time's a charm for Hugh Hefner. The 84-year-old Playboy main man is giving up his bachelorhood after popping the question to girlfriend Crystal Harris on Christmas day. 

Speaking of engagements, Big Love star Ginnifer Goodwin and singer Jason Mraz also celebrated the holidays by getting betrothed to their respective significant others.

Although the Twitterverse exploded with rumors of Aaron Carter's death Thursday, the singer later tweeted that he was alive and well and reheasing for a concert. 

Sadly, however, tweets about the passing of Teena Marie, known for her hit song "Lovergirl," turned out to be true. She died at the age of 54 Sunday.

Despite reports that Lindsay Lohan's alleged rehab-center battery victim is dropping her criminal complaint against the Mean Girls star, E! News has learned that the investigation is still going strong.
