You can't keep a good guy down...or a good time, if you're David Arquette.

The actor was knocked to the ground while trying to give an assist at the Lakers game Monday night. David had been trying to help up a security guard, who'd fallen after a fan rushed the court.

But getting flattened didn't slow David down, seeing as he performed with his band The Good Times that same night...

"He didn't seem fazed at all by what happened earlier," says a source of his performance at Teddy's, inside the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. "He was rocking out the trumpet beats of DJ Bizzy and having a great time."

Arquette and Bizzy have been practicing together since March, but Monday night was their first official show, and our source says it was quite a spectacle.

"David opened the set with the Oompa-Loompa song," they tell E! News. "He was even accompanied by four dancing Oompa Loompas!"

And of course, his famous friends were there to support, including Balthazar Getty, Emile Hirsch and Lukas Haas
