And while we're used to seeing him with his bedhead look, he was recently spotted out and about in L.A. sporting what looked to be a much shorter 'do.

It's Twilight star Robert Pattinson, sporting a freshly shaved style underneath his baseball cap.

But the haircut is for his art's sake: His new role in Water for Elephants reportedly requires a closely cropped coif.

Maybe Rob is feeling shy about his freshly shorn locks, as he was also sporting a hat when our Awful Truth cohorts spotted him with Kristen Stewart in Laguna Niguel on Saturday.
