Sandra Bullock is doing the single-mom thing in style. Gothic-Victorian style, that is.

The Oscar winner is spending her time these days getting settled in the New Orleans mansion that she and future-ex Jesse James scooped up last summer for about $2.25 million, in which she will now live in with her adopted son, Louis (and probably a few staff members).

And while invitations into Bullock's inner circle aren't forthcoming for anyone right now, we've got pictures of the star's private, private property (as it looked when it was for sale) right here.

Starting with the pool area and moving inside...

The home, in New Orleans' Garden District, boasts five bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a parlor, a ballroom, a third floor that was unfinished when purchased (Can you say playroom, Louis?), and all sorts of antique molding, columns, marble mantels and other flourishes throughout.

Along with a big pool, there's a massive lawn and a sizable motor court that no longer needs to be suitable for parking choppers.
