Charlie Sheen

Money talks, but neither Charlie Sheen nor Brooke Mueller are ready to walk—at least not yet.

"Since the December 25 incident involving Charlie and Brooke Sheen, the couple have been going through their marital trials and tribulations, and have been the subject of enormous speculation in the media. Charlie and Brooke's respective attorneys, Mark Burg and Yale Galanter, said in a joint statement Monday to E! News.

"Over-speculation, if there is such a word, would be more accurate."

"Please let us clarify this: They are not seeking a divorce nor has one been contemplated. There has been no financial agreements between the parties of any sort. Stories to the contrary are false.

"The couple asks that their privacy be respected at this time."

Earlier today, Sheen's publicist, Stan Rosenfield, shot down a Radar story that the couple had reached a secret divorce deal, calling it "not entirely accurate."

But he adamantly refused to say whether the two plan to end their two-year union, adding that "everything else is private and speculative."

E! News confirmed that Charlie's real-estate investor missus moved out of the family home last week along with their twin infant sons while he continues his outpatient rehab.

Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the parties have been discussing such issues as child care and living expenses, but stressed "there is definitely not an amended prenuptial agreement," nor has there been mention of the D-word.

"There have been absolutely no discussions of anybody filing any type of divorce action at all," Galanter told E! News. "There has been no discussion as to what would happen if there was any type of divorce."

"There have definitely been discussions involving finances while Brooke and Charlie go through this tough period," he said. "While they are working out their issues there are financial discussions that need to take place, but nothing has happened formally and there is definitely not an amended prenuptial agreement."

Meanwhile, a source close to the Mueller family denied a report that Brooke bailed after Sheen was spotted in comical disguise—sporting a buzz cut and fake mustache—bringing flowers to bikini model Angelina Tracy, prompting speculation that the 44-year-old actor had returned to his womanizing ways.

While Mueller doesn't plan on filing any official divorce docs anytime soon, according to her lawyer, she wasn't exactly thrilled by her husband's antics.

"When he got caught coming out of the escort's home wearing a mustache, Brooke was absolutely furious," Galanter revealed. "During that time period there were discussions of living expenses for her and the boys, but it was not in relation to divorce lawyers or agreements or anything like that."

(Tracy subsequently denied she's an escort, telling the New York Daily News the visit was rehab related.)

From wearing disguises to shaving his head, Sheen's recent public behavior is also not sitting well with his family.

"His behavior has been bizarre lately and she's pissed, as any woman would be," added Galanter. "Brooke has the boys, and there have definitely been some nights she has not been in the house."

While Galanter acknowledged "things aren't good" between the couple, he went on to say that "nobody is running to the courthouse to file any papers."

In terms of Mueller's own recovery since rehab, Galanter said the mother of two "is with a sober coach" all the time and "doing great."

As for the domestic violence charges Sheen is facing in Aspen, Colo., Team Sheen is said to be in talks with prosecutors hoping to reach a plea deal before CBS' Upfronts presentation later this month. At the same time, the thesp is negotiating a new contract with the network that will see him remain on Two and a Half Men for another two years, which would coincide nicely with the two-year extension CBS just gave the hit sitcom.
