Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester took to the stage in L.A. this weekend as part of KISS FM's Jingle Ball 2009 and reminded us again how she really, really, really wants to be a pop star.
Unfortunately, we're not referring to the music, which, we admit, can be kind of catchy and sexy. Rather, it's all about image, and lately Leighton seems to be using it excessively in an attempt to be less Blair and more Britney.
However, as she has shown time and time again, it all feels forced, much like the not-really-risqué bra top she sported (she is wearing a T-shirt underneath, after all), along with a pair of Emilio Pucci short shorts during Saturday's performance.
So what do you think? Is Leighton all style, no substance, or are you buying the Queen B's push to be seen as a genuine rocker chick?
