Not only have Candy and Tori Spelling been mending fences, but it sounds like they're finally serious about keeping details of the reconciliation private.

I sat down with Candy today at the famed Spelling Manor and when I asked her what she was buying the grandkids, Liam and Stella, for the holidays, she declined to go into much detail.

"I'm looking forward to a lot of wonderful things," she said. "We have taken this private, which is what I've always wanted and I think so did Tori, and I'm really thrilled."

Okay then, how about working with Tori? Not only is Candy featured on E!'s upcoming Bank of Hollywood series, but she's producing her first Broadway show, a revival of Promises, Promises, so it could happen, right?

"I wouldn't do it in that way," Candy said about producing a project for her daughter. "I don't know that I'm as good as she is. I'm sorry, but I have to be generous there. She's been doing it for so long. She's much more of a pro than I can ever be."

In Bank of Hollywood, everyday folks ask a group of panelists—Candy, Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thorton, Wilhelmina Models president Sean Patterson and champion poker player Vanessa Rousso—for money to help them fulfill their dreams.

The catch is that the panelists are giving away their own money. It's not like Candy doesn't have some pocket change to spare. The Spelling Manor is on the market for $150 million.

She declined to say if she's had any offers.

"Having this kind of house, you sort of have to have quality people to see it," she said. "It's not like you can just have an open house with lots of people over all day long."
