Allison Janney is getting real about having yet to find her perfect match.

The 61-year-old Mom star appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday, April 6, where host Drew Barrymore asked Allison, who has never married or had children, if the actress is no longer looking for those things in her life.

"Yeah, I think if I would have found the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids, I probably would have, with the right partner, because I wasn't ever really confident that I wanted to have kids," Allison explained. "I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that. I'm OK with it."

She continued, "I really am, this time in my life, getting to know who I am and what I want. So, I'd love to eventually find someone to share my life with, but if it doesn't happen, I think I'll be just fine. But it would be nice."

Allison then joked that she is currently "virtually dating" with people she watches on her TV screen, and she divulged that her "latest crush" is Rip Wheeler on Yellowstone, a.k.a. actor Cole Hauser.

The West Wing alum went on to share a harrowing—or perhaps we should say, "hair-owing"—moment from her past when a hair mishap kept her from getting her flirt on.

"One time, I was flirting with this guy," Allison began, which is always the sign of a great story. "I was walking down the street in New York, and I was just kind of putting my hands through my hair, and two extensions came out, and I was just dropping them on the ground." She went on to call it one of her "low moments."
