Don't cry for Pia Toscano, America.

Sure, the reality cutie was shockingly booted off American Idol last week, but over the weekend she was spotted in the company of Dancing With the Stars pro Mark Ballas. Nice rebound from reality rejection, don't you think?

Are the two really an item? Here's what Ballas just revealed to E! News exclusively about their dinner together:

Under intense interrogation by our own celebrity guest correspondent Lacey Schwimmer (love her), Mark revealed...not so much.

Mark did seem to deny that the Pia thing is a full-blown romance at this stage, but he wouldn't confirm or deny much more than that. Mark told us: "I'm not dating anybody...I was spotted out at dinner with somebody...There were quite a few people there—it was a group...We had a lovely evening." Awww, sweet and succinct. What a gentleman!

Elsewhere tonight at Dancing With the Stars, Kirstie Alley told us about her shoe-dropping moment, "I think this is worse than the fall...People, I'm sorry. I want you to want me. I think I can do better."

And our girl Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett confessed, "I feel like I could have done better. I had three little missteps, but the rest of the dance I tried my hardest, I gave it my all, I did bigger than I've ever done...but I survived it." She also asked for support from the audience at home: "I hope our fans vote us through, because those scores [three 6s] won't do it."
