Teen Mom 2 Finale Redux: Why Do They Keep Going Back to These Losers?!

What else went down in the season one finale of Teen Mom 2, including a key family member from Leah and Corey's life ditching their wedding?

Oh Jenelle, honey. Join a church, take up meditation, do whatever you need to do to find peace, because the thrill-seeking life you're living right now, with the parties and the loser junkie boyfriends and the itinerant lifestyle? It's just a disaster waiting to happen. Oh wait, the disaster already happened: an arrest on drug and B&E charges, and all the attendant misery.

Jenelle Evans' release from jail was depicted onscreen in the season one finale of Teen Mom 2, "Judgment Day," along with her panicky recounting of the experience to friend Amber. Jenelle sworn at the time that she was done with Kieffer Delp, but...well, we all know how that turned out. Sigh.

What else went down in the season one finale of Teen Mom 2, and which family member ditched Corey and Leah's wedding?

One Big Happy Family: In one of the cutest TV weddings ever, Corey Simms cried all over the place (we love you and your ridiculous camo vests, Corey!) as he and baby mama Leah Messer got married at a local park lodge in their home state of West Virginia. Twin darlings Ali and Aleeah were flower girls, and the whole production was gorgeous and adorable. Congrats to everyone on the formation of a beautiful new family.

Now, at risk of casting a shadow over the happy day, but we must ask: Where in tarnation was Leah's father? Unless he's dead, it's unforgivable that he wasn't at least present at his little girl's wedding. Leah's stepdad is no doubt a wonderful fellow, but come on, bio-dad, your kids deserve more than they're getting from you right now.

BTW, in case you didn't see it yet, here's a bonus clip of more Simms-Messer wedding festivities. And cheers to the bride and groom for (a) being such great parents, and (b) maintaining a real nice balance between the unfettered joy of youth and the responsible sensible world of adulthood. We love it when you laugh and giggle like the kids that you are!

Happy Birthday, Baby! As baby Aubree celebrated her first birthday with friends, family and a fabulous leopard-print-and-pink-themed party, Chelsea Houska's badass father Randy took care of business by having awful baby daddy Adam's car towed out of Chelsea's driveway. As of the season finale, which was taped in September/October 2010, Chelsea appeared to be temporarily staying strong about evicting Adam from her world, but it looks like circa the reunion show (which was taped last month in Los Angeles), Chelsea is back to taking that mook seriously. Girl, you've got to expand your horizons past this numbskull! He's only slightly more mature than your toddler daughter and that's not going to change for years and years. Trust us. Get on Match.com or something and meet some new guys! Meanwhile, you're an awesome mom, and you have a fantastic family, so just keep on working on growing up yourself.

Shhhh... Struggling young parents Kailyn Lowry and Jo Rivera continue to break the cardinal rule of divorced-parent parenting, which is "Don't talk smack about your ex around your kid!" Kailyn and Jo both obviously love Isaac dearly and will do their level best to give him a good life, but if the vitriol between them is hard for us to hear, imagine what it must be like for baby Isaac...

What did you think of the Teen Mom 2 finale? Do you think Jenelle will ever start making better choices? Do you think the French Foreign Legion would take Adam if we dropped him off in Djibouti? Would you sign a petition requesting a Corey, Leah and the Twins spinoff from MTV? Hit the comments with your reaction to "Judgment Day."
