Every writer loves to get feedback on their material, but Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam's feedback regarding some of his show's storylines is...rather strongly worded.

Or maybe he has a point. We'll leave that debate up to SOA fans. In a recent interview with ScreenJunkies.com, Charlie had some strong things to say regarding his character's relationship with the character played by Golden Globe winner Katey Sagal. Hear him out, and get the rest of your TV news in today's roundup:

"I think that [Jax] needs to assert himself and needs to control his psychotic mother, who has no place trying to run a motorcycle club. If I was in charge of the writing, I would really, really pull back on that because that's just a device that doesn't ever ring true to me," Charlie says in the interview. "So it's very frustrating to me sometimes to be put in a position as an actor to have to play out scenes where I don't believe the dynamic, and I don't believe that Jax would ever be taking orders from his mother, you know. So I hope that that is something that can be remedied a little bit."

Thoughts, SOA watchers? Is Charlie over the line in his criticism, or do you agree with him?

The Office: File this under "casting we can get on board with as long as it doesn't interfere with the Arrested Development movie." Sure, it's a long file title but it's true. Ricky Gervais recently blogged that he had a meeting at NBC, and he had "recommended Will Arnett for a regular in The Office." We like where your head's at, Ricky.

ABC/MICHAEL DESMOND

Mr. Sunshine: Even though the reviews for the new Matthew Perry comedy have been lukewarm, the ratings say otherwise. Almost 11 million viewers turned in to see the Friends alum back on their screens, making Mr. Sunshine ABC's highest-rated series debut this season. Plus, Nick Jonas is in the next episode, so we can expect that number to go up due to millions of girls dragging their parents to the TV to "watch their future husband."

Nurse Jackie: The trailer for season three of Nurse Jackie was released a couple days ago, and we just got back from our extralong dance of excitement. The whole NJ gang was at the Golden Globes, and they told us all about what's coming up this season: Jackie continues to tell people to "F off," Eddie and Kevin become closer, and Zoey is in love.

Justified: Did you catch the season premiere of Justified? Here's a promo for season two, and be sure to keep those eyes peeled for our set visit interviews with Timothy Olyphant and Natalie Zea. They even give us a pretty hilarious tour of the U.S. Marshal's office.

Jersey Shore: Can you believe this season of Jersey Shore is already halfway over? Don't roll your eyes, some of you watch because you love to hate it. Frankly, I just love it. Thankfully, MTV put together a video to let us know what's coming up for the Shore gang.
