The Big Bang Theory + three more years = lots more awesome geeky fun! Now that's the kind of math we like to do.

CBS just announced that they'll be renewing BBT through the 2013-2014 season, so fans don't have to fret one bit about a shortage of Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, and the rest.

Nina Tassler, President of CBS Entertainment, says in a statement: "It doesn't take a theoretical physicist to see why this show is a BIG part of our comedy future. The creative genius of Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady and the on-camera talents of an amazing young ensemble have created a comedy that will entertain viewers for a long time."

Most TV shows are wringing their hands, hoping to get renewed for just one more season, and BBT is getting multi-year deals. Peter Roth, President of Warner Bros. Television is, of course, super pleased about this bulked up renewal news. "We are delighted and grateful that CBS has once again rewarded The Big Bang Theory with a multiyear renewal. This is a testament to the inspired and brilliant work of the show's entire creative team, and we look forward to continuing this highly successful partnership."

Back in July, Kaley Cuoco laughed off reports of any tension regarding the new deal in the works, saying, "I mean, I'm doing next season for free. I don't know about you guys. I just figure it would make things a lot easier." Atta girl!

A three-year renewal plus a Golden Globe nomination? Kudos to the BBT gang!
