Looks like the Cox-Arquette family is moving past the "family matter" that temporarily halted production on Courteney's new ABC comedy, Cougar Town.

A source close to the series just told us:

"We were down last Friday and are on a scheduled hiatus this week. We'll resume production on Monday."

Another source reveals that Courteney's husband, David Arquette, is still working...

Arquette has been putting in long hours on the set of in an independent film, The Land of the Astronauts, which has been shooting in downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley for the past two weeks. A source close to the actor says filming has been business as usual in recent days with "no apparent" family issues interfering.

"David is a pro and seems to talk to his family often," the source says. Yesterday, the production took a planned day off, but resumed shooting this morning.

So what was the family matter Courteney needed to tend to?

That's being kept private. A castmember tells us that the cast and crew were told on Thursday that production would be halted on Friday, but not the reason why.

The good news for fans is that, assuming production does get back up and running next Monday, the very brief hiatus will not affect ABC's planned Cougar Town schedule.
