Ever since we heard from our movie moles that Rachel Weisz was being considered for the Catwoman role in the next Batman flick, we've been super-femme-powered psyched.

Also, we were such a fan of what Rachel's main man, director Darren Aronofsky, did with The Wrestler that we were curious if D had any other tricks up his sleeve?

You're a dark and moody kind of filmmaker—ever consider doing Batman if Chris Nolan steps aside?

"Not my game. I like working on stuff that comes from somewhere inside. I didn't come up with Batman so I would never do it."

An H'wood big shot sans greedy, who knew?

There are rumors going around that your wife might play Catwoman; any thoughts?

"I have no idea about that! But I think Chris Nolan is a great filmmaker, and if she's lucky enough to work with him that'd be great."

Couldn't agree more, babe. Rachel, of course, showed up to the soiree to support her hubby but, like a good mate, wouldn't comment on anything Batman so as to not steal Darren's thunder—or to secure the role; same diff, really.

Look, Rach, just promise us one thing, 'kay? If you pass on this baby, please pass it on to Beyoncé—deal? After all, that new fierce crap isn't just crap, right?
