We've said it before and we'll say it again: We don't hate Lea Michele. Far from it, really. We kinda love the "it's my way or the highway" mindset L.M. rocks, 'cause at least she's got the talent to back up her ‘tude, unlike most of Hollyweird.
And we love that Lea loves us, of course. And it seems she's still checking out the blolumn on the reg because she took some of our recent advice and ran with it:
She's showing some gay pride, Twitter-style.
After Dianna Agron penned a très brilliant Tumblr manifesto embracing the gay goss surrounding her and fighting for LGBT rights, we so innocently pointed out that we haven't heard a homo-lovin' peep from Lea in a while.
Well now we have...kinda.
Lea took to her Twitter last night to tweet lyrics to a par-tick song. Lady Gaga's "Born This Way," duh—only the most homolicious song of the summer.
The one and only @msleamichele wrote: "Backstage now 'Bornthisway' is on! I'm beautiful in my way cause god makes NO mistakes I'm on the right track baby I was born to be BRAVE!"
Touché, Lea! Maybe next time you can get a cutsie pro-pride trending topic going too? Just another suggestion, babe!
And while you may think we're being totally conceited with all this, remember, Lea definitely checks out The Awful Truth from time to time—Golden Globes sitch, anyone? We just happen to write an item asking for, at least, some Twitter attention for the gays and, after more than a month on tour, this is the tune she decides to tweet?
