Let the flirtfest, er, we mean promotional tour, for Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis' new flick, Friends With Benefits, commence!

Kind of an awkward movie topic for costars who are rumored to be linked in real life to be parading around the nation talking about, no?

Timberkunis' first stop: The Ellen DeGeneres Show, to discuss their personal views on whether or not being friends with benefits can actually work.

When Ellen asked the two if they thought it was a good idea, Timberlake tells the funny lady, "It's a really good idea until it becomes a bad idea. It probably becomes a bad idea really fast."

Hmmm. Is J.T. secretly telling us that he and Mila tried being friends with benefits but it went awry? Or possibly that they are more than friends with benefits and fully dating? Or, they have yet to cross that friendship line at all?

Mila and J.T. do keep their distance from each other on Ellen's couch, Mila even looks somewhat annoyed. But it seems like these two are definitely trying to prove a "friend zone" point, despite their off-camera flirting.

When Ellen pried J.T. for more info on his "benefits" stance, he told her, "I think that everybody could probably agree with us when we say, that if you're going to be intimate with someone at some point somebody's going to feel something."

"Unless it's not...good stuff. If it's bad then no one's going to develop any feelings," Ellen argues.

"That's still a feeling," J.T. tells her in the interview airing Thursday. "They'll develop a feeling but it's going to be, uh, uh!"

We're going to go ahead and bet Justin has more of a "yeah, yeah, yeah" feeling about Mila. We hear the guy is totally crushing on his costar in real life.

OK, so maybe while in the midst of a promo-tour for their movie isn't the most ideal time to hide a secret relaysh, but these two are just so painfully perfect for each other.

Both have recently cooled things with long term loves, their careers are on fire, and both look super smokin' in the trailer for Friends With Benefits.

The flick doesn't hit theaters until July, but we can't wait to see how these two wriggle out of awkward questions on the talk show circuit for the next two months!
