Single and not to mention sexy, Blake Lively had even sexier company while dining at the NYC restaurant, the Lion, Wednesday night. Inception star and drool-worthy Leonardo DiCaprio was at the head of this dinner table and looking very much like a leading man.

With this gossip girl callin' it quits with costar and BF of three years Penn Badgley and spending a magical night at Disneyland with Ryan Gosling, we can't help but wonder: Is Leo her new rebound?

But then again, maybe should just take a breath and re-evaluate what makes a leading man...

Breathe easy Leo lovers, they aren't dating—yet.

They were just two of the, count 'em, eight people in attendance at the late night dinner.

The meal, attended by director Baz Luhrmann and a crew of movie people, was nothing but business, even though Blake probably got pleasure just starring at the hunk from across the table, and vice versa.

DiCaprio has been cast to play Jay Gatsby in a remake of F. Scott Fitzgerald's classic novel, The Great Gatsby (great casting choice, BTW!), and it looks like Lively is a strong shoe-in for the role of Gatsby's love, Daisy.

But she hasn't been dubbed Leo's leading lady just yet! Deadline has reported that Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Keira Knightley, Scarlett Johansson, and Amanda Seyfried are being considered as well. Come on ladies, step aside Blake needs an Oscar-worthy moment, too!

Still it's safe to say if she's dining with the director, Blake's not too far from getting an official call-back, and if spending days and days filming with the yummy Dicaprio isn't enough motivation for her to make sure she lands the lead, we don't know what is!

While this dreamy duo is isn't doing it just yet—especially since there are conflicting reports about them leaving dinner together from Lainey Gossip and Us Weekly—it wouldn't surprise us if Blake's making her business pleasurable already.

Until Leo and Lively lock lips off-screen, we'll just settle for Blake playing the perfect Daisy to Leo's Gatsby.
