Exclusive! Paris' Jailhouse Call to Barbara Walters

Leave it to Barbara Walters to get a call from Paris Hilton.

I can exclusively tell you the legendary newswoman and the jailbird hotel heiress spoke on the phone just a few hours ago.

Here’s how it all went down, according to a source:

Walters was chatting on the phone with Paris’ mom, Kathy, when Paris beeped in. My source tells me Kathy told her daughter she was on the other line with Walters.

Paris then told Kathy she wanted to talk to Walters. As soon as Walters and Kathy hung up, Walters received a collect call from Paris.

Walters is being tight-lipped about the conversation right now because she's "going to talk about it on The View tomorrow," my source says.

As I’ve reported before, Walters has apparently been making a hard play for the first postconviction interview with Kathy even before Paris was sentenced to jail. Walters is no stranger to the Hilton clan. They’ve known each other for many years by being in the same New York society scene.
