Modern Family: "Yes, We Filmed the Gay Kiss Episode"

We're happy to report that Modern Family's gay kiss is in the can…

"Yes, we filmed the kiss episode," Ferguson told us at yesterday's BAFTA/LA's pre-Emmy Tea Party. "It's a very organic kiss. People are going to be very surprised when they see it."

Ferguson also said it didn't take too many takes for him and Eric Stonestreet to get it just right. "I had a lot of coffee before," he said. "Looking back on this, I probably should have done that all differently. Giving Eric his first gay kiss is something to be proud of.

"I'm sure I was his first kiss," he added. "I'll be shocked and actually offended if I wasn't."
