The most expensive item Johnston walked away with from the Kari Feinstein Style Lounge at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel wasn't actually for him, but a $259 leather Christine Price purse for his mom. How sweet.

But he passed on a Christine Price computer bag for himself. "He didn't want it because it had pink on it," a rep for the handbag company told us.

Next up was a pair of V-MODA headphones (just like the ones Lindsay Lohan has!) for about $250, plus an $80 Retrosport hoodie. He declined a $499 Britax baby stroller because, according to an eyewitness, "He said he didn't need one."

"He barely talked, but he was nice," the eyewitness said. "He didn't say anything about Bristol or the baby."

He also refused to say anything to the press. "He's not doing any interviews," his manager said. "He's just here relaxing, chilling."

But he did try to get his stud on when he turned down a gift certificate for a massage.

He smirked, "I could just ask any girl here to give me one."
