UPDATE: Gilles just got back from the doctor. He's been diagnosed with tendonitis in his shoulder and groin, according to his rep.

"He's in great shape so he should be fine," the rep tells me.

He's been prescribed anti-inflammatory medications and told to rest as much as possible.

The Dancing With the Stars curse is back!

I can exclusively reveal that, in addition to singer Jewel, another contestant from the new season of the hit reality competition show is also suffering from a DWTS-related injury.

Sex and the City hunk Gilles Marini just told me he's seeing a doctor later today for a painful pulled groin.

"It's like you dance with a knife next to your thing," said the 33-year-old Frenchman, who famously showed of his "thing" while playing Samantha Jones' neighbor in the Sex and the City movie. "It keeps stabbing me."

Marini says he first noticed something may have been wrong while practicing the cha-cha with Dancing partner Cheryl Burke.

"I felt something, but I say, 'Lemme just work through it,' " he said. "Today, I am going to [a doctor] to see what's up and so they can fix me."

Despite the pain, Marini says the show will go on for him—no matter what!

"If it's hip replacement I need to do, I will," he said with a laugh. "I will recover in 24 hours so I can dance with Cheryl. It will happen!"

In fact, he and Burke continued practicing today at a North Hollywood dance studio. "I think he's going to be fine," Burke said.

Jewel announced early this week that she's been sidelined during rehearsals because she's being treated for tendonitis in both knees. She said yesterday she was determined to compete and should be ready to go in time for the season premiere March 9.
