The original sexiest man alive hits the big 5-0 today, without a big party (or so girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis told us yesterday), and we still can't take our eyes off of him.

Looking at how the hunk's gone from his 30s to 40s to today, we have to wonder:

Has Clooney's legendary hotness finally peaked?

No way! This guy just seems to get better with age.

Maybe it's good genes, or maybe it's his younger Italian girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis that keeps him so super handsome?

Or perhaps it's being friends and trading grooming tips with fellow gorgeous guys like Brad Pitt?

Could it be that his humanitarian efforts in Sudan have made the aging gods smile upon him?

Whatever he's doing, we gotta say: It's working for him. Keep it up, hot stuff!
