Camera-Shy Ashlee Still Shows Up to Support Pete

Pete Wentz deejayed at the Boost Mobile Barbecue this weekend with his preggers wife, Ashlee, in tow...but don't expect to see any pictures—at least not of her.

The expecting Simpson sis snagged a cabana for herself and a bodyguard at Project Beach House in Malibu Saturday, but wasn't ready for her close-up.

She refused to take any photos as she sipped Snapple antioxidant water and ate pasta, artichokes and rice that Pete brought over during his downtime.

Making sure Ash didn't go hungry wasn't Pete's only grand gesture—he also showed her some love from the turntables...

Pete spun "Outta My Head" from her Bittersweet World album at one point.

"They were really cute together and seemed like they were really in love," says one parytgoer of the pair.

But while the duo seemed to have a good time, it was clear they were strictly there for work. The lovebirds only stayed at the soiree for an hour and a half and held hands as they headed back to their waiting car.
