It’s true we haven’t been the biggest supporters of Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP—there’s the name, the exclusive fancy restaurant recommendations, the discussion of bowel movements. And for those of us not giving enough thanks to Gwyneth for her showing us the right way to live, she has this to say via Elle UK:

"F--k the haters! I saw this blog of people writing horrible things about me and for a second your ego is so wounded. How could people hate me, my intentions or what I’m trying to do? I’m a good person and I’m trying to put good things into the world."

Ah yes, how very charming and nourishing of the inner aspect. But now on to more important things like being married to Coldplay...

The rumors say things aren't going well for Gwynnie and Chris Martin seeing as how they are rarely spotted together. Her bestie Madonna's divorce just intensified those rumors because besties always do everything together, including divorces (and hey, does that Jesus dude have a friend?). Gwyneth clarifies that everything is just fine:

"It doesn't behoove us to be a public couple. He certainly doesn't want to be that. We've never ever walked down a red carpet together, we never will. If people think that that means we're not together, then—ha ha ha!—so be it."

But you know what does behoove Gwyneth? Smoking!

"The last cigarette I smoked was the day I found out I was pregnant with Apple," she says. "I'm so pissed off it gives you cancer. But then, once you have children, if you've witnessed a death like I did with my father, you just can't. But I've decided that when I'm about 70 I'm going to start smoking again. Why not? I can't wait!"

And when that happens we look forward to a nice, little GOOP write-up of the most expensive and exclusive cigarettes and how to smoke them so as to best strengthen our souls or detox or just feel better than everyone else.
