Sounds like NFL legend Lawrence Taylor may working on his waltz for the eighth season of Dancing With the Stars.

And guess who may have been the one to out Mr. Taylor as a possible contestant on the hit ABC reality show?

Ashton Kutcher!

Kutcher apparently met Taylor, who turns 50 on Feb. 4, last night in Tampa during pre-Super Bowl festivities.

“Just met LT, the old-school Lawrence Taylor,” Kutcher posted on his Twitter feed (yes, his Twitter feed!). “Expect to see him in prime time soon. Can't say where but he better work on his footwork.”

Of course, Kutcher may not be referring to DWTS, but we all know how much the show loves their gridiron guys.

NFL stars have a nice history with the show. Warren Sapp, Jerry Rice and Jason Taylor have all flashed some impressive fancy footwork during their quest for the iconic disco ball trophy, while Emmitt Smith actually took it home in season three.

The new season of DWTS premieres March 9.

"We do not comment on casting rumors," a rep for the show said. "The cast will be announced Feb. 8."

But the list of celebrities rumored to already be signed for season eight ranges from rehabbed Jackass star Steve-O to music legend Stevie Wonder. Donnie Osmond recently denied he’ll be following his sister, Marie, onto the dancefloor, even though he hinted at it in a big way on Bonnie Hunt’s talk show.

Kevin Federline has also said buzz about him on DWTS is wrong. Former presidential hopeful Sen. John McCain, reportedly shot down wife Cindy’s dancing aspirations.

So who should be on the next DWTS? Let the suggestions begin.
