And...they're off.

Perhaps suffering from a case of the Mondays, the eight women and four men who are supposed to decided whether Britney Spears was driving with an invalid license when she dinged a parked car in August 2007 were sent home this afternoon after informing the judge that they are deadlocked 10-2.

There was no indication of which way they're leaning.

The jury first presented its predicament after about two hours of deliberations this morning, this coming after a little more than two hours of discussion on Friday.

After being ordered back to the jury room twice, the panel ultimately asked for a read-back of the testimony Jamie Spears' gave Friday, during which he confirmed what Britney's lawyer had said about her planning to move back to Louisiana.
