Though America seems to be enraptured with debate-born superstar “Joe the Plumber,” one man is not so thrilled. Joe Sixpak, mentioned repeatedly in recent weeks by vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin, is speaking out.

"I feel like I got used," declared the unemployed welder from Pulaski, Tenn., whose original family name was Sixpakian. "According to Palin, I pretty much represent America. And now this guy comes along an' he's gettin' all the attention, and I'm like, what do I get out of this?"

Asked what exactly he wanted, Sixpak appeared flustered: “Well, I don’t know. Attention, I guess. Some endorsement deals for beer would be awesome, or maybe gettin’ on a reality show. I mean, I’m Joe freakin’ Sixpak.”
