Naomi Spittin' Mad at Airport?

Supermodel released on bail after getting busted Thursday at Heathrow for launching loogie at cop

Forget cell phones—Naomi Campbell's apparent new weapon of choice: loogies.

The anger-mismanaging supermodel was released on bail early Friday morning after getting arrested yet again, this time at London's Heathrow Airport yesterday afternoon on suspicion of assaulting a policeman with saliva.

Campbell walked out of the airport police station shortly after midnight after being ordered to report back to the station in early May pending further investigation.

As originally reported by the U.K.'s Sky News, the catwalker was involved in an altercation with airline employees, which allegedly escalated into her spitting on a uniformed officer.

Rep Jeff Raymond confirmed to E! News that Campbell had already boarded a flight to Los Angeles to attend a memorial service when she was informed one of her pieces of checked luggage was MIA.

According to Britain's Sun tabloid, Campbell was removed "ranting and screaming" from British Airways' first-class cabin and escorted through the airport's newly opened—and already trouble-plagued—Terminal 5.

Per the Sun, Campbell was less than pleased with the airport staff's suggestion that she take off without the bag, or their assurance that they would forward along the luggage to her final destination should it turn up.

Once officers arrived to restore order, the loogie-launching had apparently commenced.

The model, who has a well-documented history of violent indiscretions, was reportedly hauled off to the airport police station, and her bag—the one that made it onboard, anyway—was removed from the plane, resulting in a more than one-hour delay in the flight.

"[British Airways] decided to resolve this by insisting she leave the flight and then called the police to forcibly eject her from the flight," Raymond said.

"She was taken to the Heathrow Police Station and released on police bail. So far as we are aware British Airways have still failed to offer any explanation as to why her bag went missing at Terminal 5."

A spokesperson for Heathrow confirmed that a 37-year-old female passenger was removed by police from a British Airways flight this afternoon. However, per airport policy, the perp was not identified.

Likewise, London's Metropolitan Police confirmed earlier Thursday that said unnamed individual was in custody at Heathrow Police Station. (The police will only identify a suspect once he or she has been charged.)

There was no comment from the Metropolitan Police on the officer's condition—aside from presumably being soggy.

Campbell's publicist, Selina Aponte, was spotted leaving Heathrow just before 10 p.m.

"We have all seen the reports, but I don't know anything," said Aponte, adding that she hadn't seen the model.

Last year, the supermodel served five days' community service at New York's Department of Sanitation after pleading guilty to throwing a BlackBerry at her then-assistant.
