Milla Jovovich has popped.

The actress delivered a baby girl, Ever Gabo Anderson, Saturday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, her publicist confirmed.

It's the first child for Jovovich, 31, and her fiancé, filmmaker Paul Anderson, 42. The twosome met when he directed her in 2002's Resident Evil, and she went on to star in the next two films in the franchise, which Anderson wrote and produced.

Late last month, Jovovich wrote on her Website that the baby was "already a strapping 7.4 pounds! Completely full term, totally healthy and ready to be born."

She also noted that her weight had balanced out at an "astronomically well proportioned 191," adding that she was aware her pregnant figure "has been a hilarious subject with many people recently."

Far from being bothered by her weight gain of around 70 pounds, Jovovich said she was pleased with her baby body and that her doctor was "very proud" as well.

"It's just that food tastes so darn good when you don't deaden your taste buds with tobacco," the reformed smoker said. "I feel like I discovered some ancient secret of life and happiness or something!"

Up ahead, the new mom is slated to star in the film Azazel, which begins shooting in February or March.

In addition to her acting pursuits, Jovovich designs the clothing line Jovovich-Hawk with partner Carmen Hawk. The label recently unveiled a line for the clothing chain Mango.

At some point, she and Anderson also plan to get hitched, after announcing their engagement in 2003. For the time being, no wedding date has been set.
