Sadly, Zsa Zsa Gabor is a long way from her police-slapping days.

The Hungarian actress, who has been relegated to a wheelchair and walker in recent years, underwent surgery Tuesday in Los Angeles following complications from a leg infection, according to her husband, Prince Frederic Von Anhalt.

Von Anhalt, who is, incidentally, a self-proclaimed paramour of the late Anna Nicole Smith, told the Associated Press that the operation was "successful" and that is wife is currently "in recovery."

The Moulin Rouge diva, who has been partially paralyzed since a 2002 car accident, suffered a stroke in 2005. "She's been inactive for the last four years," her publicist John Blanchette told the AP. This inactivity has resulted in leg infections and is likely the cause of this most recent medical malady.

Von Anhalt says his wife—who is believed to be anywhere from her late 80s to 90—was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Monday night to undergo surgery before the infection spread to the bone. "She was in great pain," Von Anhalt told Reuters via phone.

Still, it appears she is out of danger, and "in a couple of days she'll be okay," according to von Anhalt.

Meanwhile, her ill health has forced the withdrawal of a lawsuit against her daughter for an alleged money grab.

Gabor and Von Anhalt sued Francesca Hilton in 2005 for elder abuse, fraud and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Hilton is Gabor's daughter with ex-husband Conrad Hilton, aka Paris Hilton's great-grandpa.

The complaint claimed Hilton forged Gabor's signature to take out a loan on Gabor's $14 million Bel-Air home. Hilton pocketed $2 million from that transaction to buy herself a home and invest in a non-existent company, per the lawsuit.

Hilton and Von Anhalt have been angling for prime slots in Gabor's will. Hilton says she had her mother's permission for the loan to protect her inheritance.

Trial in the case was supposed to begin Wednesday, but Gabor was physically unable to appear in court.

Her attorney asked Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Jacqueline Connor to postpone the proceedings but she rejected the request.

An attorney for Gabor and Von Anhalt say they will file a revised lawsuit.

Gabor, one of a trio of sexy sisters who ruled Hollywood in the 1950s and ‘60s, starred in such hits as Lili and Touch of Evil and collected a string of famous ex-husbands. (Von Anhalt is number nine.) She also has appeared in numerous TV and game shows as herself, always using her trademark greeting, "Hello, dah-ling."

Sisters Eva and Magda died in 1995 and 1997, respectively.

In 1989, Zsa Zsa infamously snapped back in the spotlight for slapping a Beverly Hills cop who had given her a traffic violation; she spent a few days in jail.
