Welcome to the family, little Deary.

Keri Russell and husband Shane Deary welcomed their first child together on June 9, son River Russell Deary, according to the actress' rep. The baby was born in New York.

Russell and Deary, who announced that they were expecting in January, tied the knot on Valentine's Day in an intimate ceremony with only a few family members and friends in attendance. The duo had been dating for several years and got engaged in 2005, publicist Jill Fritzo said at the time.

"I'm one of the lucky ones," Russell, referring to her pregnancy, told People at the Sundance Film Festival, where she was attending the premiere of her latest film, Waitress. "So far it's been nice and easy. It's a big, life-changing experience, and we're excited.

Waitress, directed by the late actress Adrienne Shelly, who died before she could bask in the indie film's warm reception from both critics and moviegoers, opened May 2 and has since grossed more than $14 million in limited release, per Box Office Mojo.

Russell plays Jenna, an unhappy wife and expectant mother whose only solace comes from her fellow waitresses, played by Shelly and Cheryl Hines, and from baking pies. Until her married obstetrician, played by Serenity star Nathan Fillion, comes along, that is.

Next up for the former Felicity star, who also recently guest-starred on Scrubs, is the dramatic fantasy August Rush, costarring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Freddie Highmore and Robin Williams, due out Oct. 19, and the psychological drama Girl in the Park, with Sigourney Weaver playing a mother who, 15 years later, is still despondent over the disappearance of her three-year-old daughter.

Meanwhile, Russell and CoverGirl teamed to launch the Keri Kronicles this week on the actress' MySpace page. The series of Webcasts will provide inside footage of Russell's work as a CoverGirl, actress and mom and will include personal beauty tips, favorite recipes, fashion tips and nursery picks. There is also a Q&A section where Russell will field fans' queries.

The Kronicles will run through the fall.
