Some women can have it all—and apparently, all at once.

Salma Hayek's publicist confirmed to E! News that the Mexican actress is getting ready to double her pleasure, announcing that the Frida star is not only engaged to French business and fashion tycoon Francois-Henri Pinault, but also expecting her first child.

When Salma Hayek has news, Salma Hayek has news.

"Businessman Francois-Henri Pinault and his fiancée, Salma Hayek, are happy to announce that they are expecting the arrival of their first child," said publicist Ina Treciokas, giving Hayek rare second billing.

There was no word on when they planned to get hitched or when their baby was due.

The statement comes after print and Internet gossips went on bump watch following photos of Hayek looking even more hourglass than usual. New York Daily News columnist Ben Widdicombe first reported the with-child news.

Unlike her made-for-paparazzi flings with Edward Norton (1999-2003) and Josh Lucas (2003-04), Hayek, 40, has kept her coupling with Pincault, 44, exceedingly low-profile.

They have barely registered on the Hollywood hookup radar, with the Golden Globe-winning Ugly Betty producer rarely joining Pinault for public events. The Frenchman was largely absent from the recently wrapped awards show circuit, on which Hayek was a red-carpet fixture.

Pinault is the CEO of Pinault-Printemps-Redoute, a mega-corporation that owns fashion houses Gucci, Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent, as well as the French department store Printemps and several other retail chains. His family also owns Christie's auction house, several French newspapers and a European soccer club. His father, also Francois, is currently ranked as the 74th richest person in the world.

This will be the first marriage for Hayek, who, after high-profile relationships with Norton and Lucas, more recently preferred the company of bosom buddy Penélope Cruz. While appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman last month, Hayek scoffed at rumors (and men's fantasies) that she and Cruz were an item, saying their relationship, while close, was solely sisterly.
