Sara Evans' sensational split has taken a turn for the downright docile.

The country singer and her estranged husband, Craig Schelske, declared a truce on several issues in their bitter divorce battle during a hearing in Tennessee's Williamson County court Thursday.

After waging war on each other in the press over the past couple weeks, the duo agreed to refrain from airing any more juicy accusations in public.

Though Evans has primary custody of the couple's three children for now, she and Schelske agreed to work out a visitation schedule so that he could see the kids "very soon," the Tennessean reported.

A judge urged them to draw up the schedule right away and to return to court Friday if they could not reach mutually agreeable arrangements.

The duo also agreed to evenly split $274,000 they had deposited in a joint bank account. Evans had previously accused Schelske of transferring the shared funds into an account in his name.

Further smoothing the split, Schelske agreed to find a new place to live, rather than sharing the couple's home.

Both halves of the couple agreed to undergo psychological exams and to refrain from "excessive" alcohol use, TMZ.com reported.

In addition, a judge removed the name of the couple's former nanny, Alison Clinton, from court documents alleging Clinton had an affair with Schelske, a claim both Clinton and Schelske denied.

In response to Evans' accusations, Clinton has launched the Website PleaseApologizeSaraEvans.com, on which she and her husband demand a public apology from the singer.

"It doesn't matter if you are a country music star like Sara Evans or just the person down the street. No one should smear innocent people like Alison Clinton with false allegations," the site proclaims.

Evans and Schelske's split became public fodder earlier this month after the singer dropped out of Dancing with the Stars and filed for divorce on Oct. 12, accusing her husband of adultery and a porn addiction.

Schelske responded by claiming his wife wanted out because he had discovered she was having an affair.

Outside the courtroom Thursday, Schelske responded, "I do," when asked by reporters if he still loved his wife. Evans, on the other hand, maintained a stony silence.
