Toni Collette real-life nuptials sounded just like a replay of Muriel's Wedding.

If you ignore those, um, Buddhist monks.

Collette, who shot to fame as the ABBA-obsessed, groom-hungry bride in the 1994 sleeper hit comedy, did the "I do" thing over the weekend in her native Australia in a ceremony that featured a cameo by her Wedding pal Rachel Griffiths and a gaggle of the aforementioned monks, who presided over the festivities.

Oh yeah, the groom was one Dave Galafassi--an Aussie musician Collette's been dating for nearly a year.

The whole affair was kept on the Q.T. to avoid the local tabs. The sunset ceremony went down Saturday night at Collette's 25-acre ranch 120 miles outside Syndey, according to actress' publicist, Maria Farmer, with about 100 guests, Griffiths included, making the trek. (Collette and Galafassi were guests at Griffiths' wedding on New Year's Eve.)

The veiled bride was sheathed in a wedding gown--"divine" in the words Collette's rep--designed by Australian designer Collette Dinnigan. After the vows were swapped, guests chowed down on a vegetarian feast, took in a fireworks show and partied until the wee hours.

"The wedding was one of the most beautiful days that many of us had spent," Farmer said.

This is the first legit trip down the aisle for Collette, 30, whose past leading men included her Velvet Goldmine costar Jonathan Rhys-Meyers.

After catching Hollywood's eye (and earning a Golden Globe nomination) as the titular star of Muriel's Wedding, Collette has racked up an impressive résumé. She received a Best Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for playing Haley Joel Osment's long-suffering mom in The Sixth Sense and a Tony nomination for the 2000 musical Wild Party and starred in the 2001 Emmy-nominated HBO teleflick Dinner with Friends. Most recently, she appeared a trio of high-profile 2002 films, The Hours, About a Boy and Changing Lanes.

Galafassi, 25, is a drummer in the up-and-coming Sydney-based band Gelbison. The group's debut album is due out in March on Virgin Records.
