Amy Winehouse's beloved Blake Incarcerated has only just begun to earn his nickname.

A London judge today sentenced the Grammy winner's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, to 27 months behind bars as punishment for his guilty plea for assaulting a pub owner and then attempting to cover it up.

Winehouse was not present in Snaresbrook Crown Court to hear her other half's fate.

Fielder-Civil has already logged roughly nine months, or the better part of the first year of marriage, at Pentonville Prison. Accounting for the time served, he may only have 18 months left as an imate.

The 26-year-old rabble rouser pleaded guilty last month to counts of causing grievous bodily harm and perverting the course of justice. He admitted to having viciously attacked 36-year-old barkeep Jamie King in the summer of 2006, requiring King to get plates fitted to his face after suffering a broken cheekbone.

Fielder-Civil also copped to subsequently attempting to stop the assault case from going to court by paying King with $400,000 and an expenses-paid exotic vacation if he didn't testify against him.

Three other men were sentenced to prison terms for their roles in the incident, with only one of Fielder-Civil's cohorts getting a longer sentence, 33 months. (King was previously cleared of charges of accepting the payout.)

In handing down the sentence, Judge David Radford said it was clear Fielder-Civil had excessively used both cocaine and alcohol prior to the attack and only joined in the fight "out of a mistaken sense of loyalty to your friend."

"The fact remains that in joining in that attack by kicking out at Mr. King after he had already been both punched and kicked by Mr. Brown, you behaved in a gratuitous, cowardly and disgraceful way. It will be of little comfort to Mr. King that you did so because of your inebriation."
