Having watched some of his romances sink like a certain well-known ship, it's understandable that Leonardo DiCaprio has, in the past, expressed his reluctance to drop anchor and settle down.

But now it seems the actor's views are changing course.

"What I definitely feel a need for is to make my life about more than just my career," says the Body of Lies star in the new issue of Parade.

"Just last night I was thinking to myself how little of my life has been lived normally and not spent on some far-off movie location. I want to get married and have children. In saying that, I realize I am contradicting everything I've said before. I absolutely believe in marriage."

It's uncertain whether this new outlook stems from his seemingly on-again relationship with on-again, off-again girlfriend Bar Refaeli, or is simply a part of getting older. But whatever the case may be, the 33-year-old Leo clearly doesn't want to divulge too much, either.

"It's hard to talk about this stuff," he says. "I want to keep some of this for myself."

In fact, when asked by the AP if he planned to settled down, Leo was even more cagey. "Ah, how do you answer something like that? So, um, I am being asked to look in the future I suppose quickly. No, I don't have any plan."

But we're suckers for romance, so lets continue with Parade's vision of DiCaprio's domestic bliss: "I hope I never get cynical," says Leo. "I think you need youthful energy, excitement, and optimism in life."

Of course, dating young, superhot models no doubt makes that vigor easier to obtain.
