A club can't handle Flo Rida, but a jail cell can.

The 31-year-old rapper was collared this morning in his home state of Florida for driving under the influence, E! News has learned.

According to a spokeswoman for the Miami Beach Police Department, Flo, whose real name is Tramar Dillard, was pulled over in his snazzy (and, may we add, super pricey) red and black 2008 Bugatti around 3:30 a.m. by police who noticed him swerving repeatedly between lanes (gives new meaning to his hit "Right Round").

After observing Flo Rida's bloodshot, watery eyes and slurred speech and smelling alcohol on his breath, the officer administered a field sobriety test, which he flunked, and then a Breathalyzer, which registered a blood alcohol level of 0.185, more than double the state's legal limit. The Grammy nominee was also found to be driving with a suspended license for failing to pay a previous traffic fine.

Flo Rida was subsequently taken into custody and booked at a nearby police station for suspicion of DUI and driving with a suspended license. The hip-hopster remains behind bars as of press time and bail has been set at $2,000.

Of noteworthy interest, the arrest report (read it here) says that immediately following the traffic stop a large crowd of bystanders gathered as cops were evaluating Flo's fitness to drive, "trying to get officers to let [Flo Rida] go."

"Some individuals were offering to drive [him] home," wrote the officer.

The MC also told an officer when asked to "walk the line" that he couldn't do it, saying "I had a few drinks. Let's try another test." The officer obliged and Flo Rida then stated, "I can make it home."

Authorities disagreed and brought him in.

UPDATE: The rapper entered into a program for first-time DUI offenders called Back on Track, through which he'll perform community service and take DUI classes.
