In retrospect, she could've saved everyone a lot of time and worry if she'd just said "yes, yes, yes" the first time.

As it happens, after what for Amy Winehouse seems like eons out of the headlines, the British singer has found herself back in them, announcing today that she's heading back to rehab.

So prompted this rehab redo?

Well, despite reports that the Grammy winner picked up and immediately necked one last (mini) bottle of vodka en route to rehab and subsequently puking it back up in a hair salon (that's a special kind of hot mess, right there), nothing in particular is said to have precipitated the decision, which is being described as simply another step in the 27-year-old's ongoing battle with alcohol addiction.

However, the move to rehab was apparently done to get Winehouse in full fighting form before she heads out on tour.

"Amy Winehouse has embarked on a treatment program at the Priory Clinic," a rep for the singer told E! News. "She wants to be ready for performances in Europe this summer and decided to seek an assessment. She will remain at the Priory on doctors' advice."

We've said it before and we'll say it again: get better, Amy.
