Days after seeing firsthand the destruction wrought by the deadly storms in Alabama, the former Two and a Half Men star has launched the Torpedoes Against Tornados website to raise money for victims. "I'm in Tuscaloosa. it's beyond words," Sheen tweeted Monday.
Sheen joins the likes of David Spade, who kicked in $200,000 for Red Cross tornado relief efforts, and country stars Tim McGraw, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban, Hank Williams Jr. and Alabama, who are leading the bill for the May 12 CMT concert in Nashville benefiting victims of the twisters that left more than 300 people dead and caused millions of in damage across the South and lower Midwest. Blake Shelton and Reba McEntire also are topping a separate relief concert set for May 26 in Oklahoma.
Sheen is on quite the charitable streak of late, have raised money and kicked in contributions to help a bipolar-awareness group in Canada and the family of a severely beaten San Francisco Giants fan.
