It's hard to forget Frenchie Davis. She was the (in)famous big-lunged American Idol contestant forced out of the singing competition when nude pics of her surfaced. While she had some moderate success on the stage, including a long stint in Rent on Broadway, she's still looking for that elusive big-time record deal.

And yes, that was her resurfacing on last night's premiere of NBC's new singing contest, The Voice.

So what did the judge's think of her reality-TV comeback performance, belting out Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"?

Loved it!

Because of the show's blind-audition format, they had no idea who she was, but they were clearly into her. A wide-grinning Christina Aguilera was the first to hit her button in approval (meaning she agreed to mentor Davis during the competition), followed by Cee Lo, who instantly recognized Davis (we can only imagine where from...).

Cee Lo: "What up, Frenchie?"

Frenchie: "You know who I am?"

Cee Lo: "Yeah!...What a pleasant surprise, you just won't ever give up, will you, woman

Frenchie: "I will not give up on my dream."

That's when Blake Shelton chimed in. "At one point I thought you were going to blow the speakers," he said. "I think you and Christina are the perfect match.

Aguilera concurred. "I liked it," she said, as Davis soaked up a standing ovation. "You got me going."

UPDATE: Aside from Frenchie's good news, NBC should be happy. The Voice attracted 11.8 million viewers and rocked the 18-48 demo with the biggest premiere for any major network show since CBS' Undercover Boss debuted following the Super Bowl last year.

Welcome back, Frenchie!
