Ian Ziering Is a First-Time Dad!

Actor finally follows other principal 90210 dudes into fatherhood by welcoming a daughter with wife Erin

Steve has finally caught up with Brandon, Dylan and David.

Beverly Hills 90210 alum Ian Ziering welcomed his first child with wife Erin Monday, daughter Mia Loren Ziering.

And boy does the brand-new dad, the last of the principal 90210 dudes to procreate, sound excited!

"Well, it's official, I'm a dad!" Ziering wrote on Facebook. "As I sit holding Mia, Erin sleeps the most beautiful sleep. My thoughts race with visions of a brighter future, only made possible by what happens today… or, last night! God bless us all."

They chose a name that started with an M to honor Ziering's late mother, Micki.

Ironically, Ziering's 90210 character, the initially shallow and unreliable Steve Sanders, was the one who ended up with a baby on the show—an unexpected surprise for him and onscreen girlfriend Lindsay Price.

But his real-life foray into fatherhood has been a long time coming.

"Erin and I are very excited to be parents," he said in October. "It's something we both have always wanted."
