What Did "Stone-Cold Sober" Charlie Sheen Do Today?

It started with coffee and pastries and continued with him being tested for drugs and having his existence wiped from the Warner Bros. lot

Charlie Sheen keeps right on tickin'.

Just hours after a group of "awesome" LAPD officers searched his home for weapons, Sheen was "back at the top of his game," according to Morgan Creek Productions CEO James Robinson, who has been working to get Major League 3 off the ground with Sheen attached to reprise his role as Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn.

The old pals met at Robinson's office today, he exclusively told E! News, describing Sheen as "stone-cold sober" and "clean as a whistle" as they talked business over coffee, tea and pastries.

"I don't know about all this other stuff going on with him but I talked to him for two hours about the movie and the guy is straight arrow right now," Robinson says. "That's not something you can fake. I don't know what was going on last week, or the week before, and I don't care. I know one thing right now. He's as clean as a whistle. That's the truth."

Also joining them for the meeting was David Ward, who wrote the other three Major League movies (Sheen has discounted Back to the Minors as not being a true part of the series), though Robinson said they weren't there to cut a deal.

"The lawyers and accountants do that stuff," he added.

Robinson seems confident that Sheen will be able to pull it together to make the movie, contrary to what Warner Bros. said about the actor's decreasing ability to do his job on Two and a Half Men before they ultimately fired him.

In fact, Sheen's trailer was driven off the lot today, another step in excising the remaining traces of "Charlie Harper" from the studio.

But Robinson insists that Sheen remains the consummate professional.

"The guy is very, very smart," the producer said. "He has not lost his edge...He's on time, on his mark, and knows his lines. What more can you ask?"

And he's a family man!

Sheen "talked about his kids and the things he does with them," Robinson said. "He was just a regular guy talking. The most important thing in his life is his children, and the most fun time he has is with his children. I trust a man who loves his children."

That regular guy also stopped off in the San Fernando Valley later this afternoon to take a drug test along with ex-wife Brooke Mueller. A source tells E! News, "They both agreed to get tested to prove to each other they're clean."

Stone-cold sobriety is a good start, then.
