The family of Ashlynn Anderson, the 4-year-old stepdaughter of Ax Men star Jesse Browning mauled to death a year ago by his rottweiler, is hoping to thwart future incidents.

To that end, Dads Against Dangerous Dogs, has been founded by Ashlynn's maternal grandfather, Don Wing, in her memory. "Death by dog is rare, but there are all kinds of bites and if we can prevent that, we've done our job," he told Oregon's Daily Astorian.

No criminal charges were filed against the History Channel star, who claimed one of his dogs just "snapped," but both his rottweilers were euthanized in the wake of the attack.
